The Storm, Flood and Landslide Resarch Division applies advanced sensing technology to clarify the mechanisms behind meterological disasters, flooding disasters, landslide disasters and coastal disasters, developing more precise observation and prediction technologies to mitigate damage from water and sediment disasters.
