- 都市空間レベルの地震被害予測のための数値解析基盤の開発

- 博士の学位を有すること(着任までに取得見込みの者を含む)またはこれと同等以上の学識経験を有すること。
- 上記研究開発業務に従事するに十分な研究能力と意欲を有すること。
- 有限要素法による地震応答解析の研究に関する経験を有すること。
- 地震災害に対する都市のレジリエンス高度化に資する研究に高い関心があること。

【雇用期間】
令和5年4月1日(応相談)から令和6年3月31日まで
ただし、予算の状況、従事している業務の必要性及び勤務成績により、1事業年度毎に更新する。(1事業年度単位で4回を限度とする)

週5日、7時間45分勤務(9時00分~17時30分 昼休み45分含む)※裁量労働制度等有
※土日祝日、年末年始(12月29日~1月3日)は休み - 給与等

当所規程により決定(年俸制)
月額504,700円以上 固定残業代(60,060円以上、15時間相当分)を含む。
15時間超過分は別途支給

One (1) contract researcher (Researcher status) in Earthquake Disaster Mitigation Research Division, NIED
- Duties
-
In the "Research and Development for Enhancing Resilience Utilizing Research Infrastructures such as a 3D Full-Scale Earthquake Testing Facility" project, the following duties will be performed.
- Research and development of detailed finite element analysis to reproduce earthquake damage to entire buildings
- Research and development of a numerical simulation platform for earthquake damage prediction at an urban space level
- Other related research and development
- Qualification Requirements

- Applicants must hold a Ph. D. (including those who will obtain a Ph. D. before commencing the position) or have the equivalent level of academic knowledge and enough experience to conduct the research duties described above.
- Applicants are required to have research ability and motivation to engage in the above-mentioned duties.
- Applicants are required to have experience in the study of seismic response analysis using the finite element method
- Applicants are required to have high interest in research leading to the enhancement of urban resilience against seismic disasters.

The successful candidate will be employed from April 1, 2023 to March 31, 2024. (*negotiable) The term of employment may be extended each fiscal year, based on budget, needs of work engaged in, and in line with performance.
*The period of first two months is probationary. - Salary and Working Conditions

Salary: More than 504,700 yen per month.
*To be determined at the time of employment based on internal regulations (annual salary system).
*Including fixed overtime allowance: 15 hours equivalent. In the case of 504,700 yen per month, the fixed overtime allowance is 60,060 yen
