Prevention of COVID-19 infection and the continuity of research activities (June 1st)
The emergency declaration has been recently lifted. However, NIED will continue to take appropriate preventive measures and promote our research and other activities.
- Continuity of research activities
-
NIED will continue our research and other activities after establishing new behavior patterns and taking appropriate preventive measures. Following the emergency declaration issued by the government on April 7, we reduced the number of employees to work at the NIED facilities, however we will gradually increase the number of employees returning to work in stages through the application of work-from-home scheme by the end of June.
- Entry to the NIED facilities
-
Entry of visitors with fever and respiratory symptoms (cough, breathing difficulty, etc.) to NIED facilities is not allowed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Every visitor entering NIED facilities will be asked about symptoms and signs of infection and required to disinfect their hands and fingers with disinfectant upon arrival. - Guided tours
-
We are currently preparing to resume group guided tour. Once the details are confirmed, we will announce on the website of each facility.
Your understanding and cooperation are greatly appreciated.
