Concept of the Specimen
According to the current Japanese specifications and practices.
- Dampers used in a moment resisting frame building
- Column : box steel section (BCR295)
- Girder：H-shaped steel section（SN490B）
- Damper : 4 types (Steel, Viscous, Oil, Visco-elastic)
- Frame(column and girder) will be used repeatedly.
- Moment connection by through-diaphragm detail.
- End of girder (no damper connecting): reinforced by horizontal haunch
- Column base is rigidly connected to base steel.
- Non-structural components : ALC wall, aluminum curtain wall, sash window, steel door, dry partition wall, ceiling
