NIED Introduced its Work toward Resilience at the International Media Center of the G7 Hiroshima Summit
During the G7 Hiroshima Summit on May 19-21, NIED held an exhibition in the International Media Center of the Summit. At the exhibition booth, which was primarily visited by Japanese and international press, NIED introduced its MOWLAS, N-net, large-scale experimental facilities (E-Defense, Large-scale Rainfall Simulator, and Shinjo Cryospheric Environment Laboratory), and JHoP (Japan Hub of Disaster Resilience Partners) through posters and videos.
Visitors to NIED booth commented that they learned for the first time that the efforts of NIED are contributing to disaster risk reduction in Japan.
