The COVID-19 pandemic posed substantial concerns and questions about our current disaster risk management framework and strategies, and served as a wake-up call for many DRR stakeholders to take measures to more complicated situations such as compound, cascading disasters and unconventional hazards such as chemical, biological, and technological hazards.
In this dynamically changing DRR landscape, the All-hazards Approach and the role of Science, Technology, and Innovation (STI) are getting more attention in supporting DRR stakeholders to facilitate the science-policy interface for DRR decision making, to enhance strategic partnerships and coordination and to strengthen capacity of individuals and organizations for building disaster resilience in the Asia-Pacific Region.
Come and join this Partner Event to get an insight on how STI and All-hazard Approach can support you and your organization in your DRR work.
